Recurring Quests showing numbered quizzes and their upcoming calendar dates
A preview of numbered recurring quizzes in the Recurring Quests tool.

You should spend your time studying, not numbering quizzes in your calendar!

Adding “Quiz” to your calendar and making it repeat every Friday at 11:59 PM is not enough. I would do this and then manually open up each calendar event to add the quiz number beside it — wasting a solid five minutes. It feels good to have an event title that is specific and can mark your progress. Most people recommend to create goals — goals that are SMART — are goals that are specific.

Our “recurring quests” tool allows you to enter a quest name (i.e., “Lecture”, “Practical”, “Tutorial”, “Quiz”, “Assignment”), the dates they start and end, and syllabus weights (if applicable). Then, our app provides all of the calendar events — numbered for you. These quests can be uploaded to your Google Calendar, Microsoft Calendar, and/or Apple Calendar. We don’t have a direct sync with all external calendar providers — however, uploading manually isn’t that hard. All you have to do to upload to these calendar is download the “.ics” file from our app which contains all of the app’s calendar events and upload it to your preferred calendar provider.

If there is anything confusing and you need help, you are welcome to submit a support request at tulg.ca/support — it can be done in less than a minute! In addition, you can send an email to us at [email protected] if you need help or just want to provide suggestions on how we can improve. We are currently working on implementing a direct Google Calendar sync to our app’s calendar for signed-in users. We may try to add Microsoft Calendar and Apple Calendar sync if there is demand.

Our app started in June 2026, and we have less than 50 users😢! However, we are so grateful for these users. We would appreciate if you could sign-up for the app. You get the “Recurring Quests” tool alongside — a well-built gamified study planner and grade tracker!

We provide many features for free! You can learn more at tulg.ca/plans. However, if you are really interested in using our app — please send us an email explaining this — and we will greatly consider providing the service to you at a discounted price. We want The Ultimate Learning Game to reach the hearts and brains of post-secondary students across Canada and eventually the world at an affordable cost. We hope you can help us in this journey.

With a million thanks,
